About the Campground

A family destination for 40 years, Hickory Lake Campground offers seasonal, weekly, and daily camping in our grassy, wooded, full-hookup sites.

The campground also offers a heated pool, swimming beach, fishing and slip docks, boat rentals, game room, playground, volleyball, free wireless Internet access, and a store with light groceries, treats, and gifts. The campground is open from May 1 to September 30.

Hickory Lake Campground was founded in 1968 as "Big K Resort and Campground" by the Kleven family - hence the big K in our logo! It has operated continuously as a campground and RV resort.

In addition to running a great family resort, we are very excited to offer you the opportunity to join the Hickory Lake Campground Cooperative Association by purchasing a permanent lease to a campsite.
